Le Superchicche (The Powerpuff Girls) è una serie a cartoni animati statunitense creata da Craig McCracken e prodotta da Hanna-Barbera per Cartoon Network.
La serie vede come protagoniste tre bambine dotate di superpoteri, che hanno dedicato le loro vite a combattere il crimine e le forze del male.
Il loro motto è: Salveremo il mondo prima di andare a nanna!
La serie venne ideata dall'animatore Craig McCracken come progetto universitario al California Arts Institute nel 1992, ed era intitolata The Whoop-Ass Girls.
Tre anni dopo Cartoon Network gli commissionò due brevi puntate per What-A-Cartoon! e, infine, nel 1998 una serie televisiva completa. Nel 2002 è stato realizzato anche il lungometraggio: Le Superchicche il film.
Sono tre e si chiamano Dolly, Lolly e Molly, chiamate a difendere il mondo da acerrimi nemici.
Sono veri supereroi in gonnella, piccole, ma potenti e la città di Townsville può vivere sonni tranquilli.
In "Fight Before Christmas" comparirá un'aspirante quarta Superchicca, che tenterá di raggirare Babbo Natale per divetare anche lei una bambina di zucchero, cannella e ogni cosa é bella.
Per riuscire nel suo intento dovrá convincere Babbo Natale che Lolly, Dolly e Molly sono veramente cattive!
Le Superchicche affronteranno questo nuovo pericolo trasformandosi in un super-tornado e salveranno cosí anche il Natale.
